*~*~*~[Blurb]~*~*~*~
Jiang Suimian had been in love with Xiao Qi for her entire youth, and in the end, her wish came true: she became his princess consort.
When Jiang Suimian first married Xiao Qi, she thought they would share a harmonious marriage and love each other deeply.
But who could have guessed that, years after their wedding, the cup of poisoned wine Xiao Qi personally offered her would be what awaited her?
The poison slid down her throat, but somehow Jiang Suimian returned to her younger days, before she had married Xiao Qi.
The little girl had not yet recovered her wits when Xiao Qi barged into her room with the woman he loved. She promptly grabbed something and hurled it at them.
All she could think was that she had wasted years of sincere affection on a dog.
**
Emperor Yongyuan had picked up a little cat, sweetly scented like pears, delicate and soft. The first time she saw him, she nearly ran into his imperial carriage.
He reached out and stopped her.
The next time they met, she gently rubbed the spot where he had stopped her and murmured, "Your Majesty, you hurt me."
Emperor Yongyuan glanced at the reddened mark on her forehead and frowned slightly.
She was afraid of pain.
But later, to save him, the person who feared pain most of all drew two qian of blood from her own heart.
So precious flowers break easily and must be tended with care.
From then on, the emperor gathered her into his arms and never let the wind and rain touch her again.
The eldest prince, Xiao Qi, was noble and handsome, and a likely heir to the throne. He was the ideal husband hidden in the hearts of countless young women. Yet the position of his princess consort had been settled long ago for Jiang Suimian, the legitimate daughter of the Minister of Personnel.
Everyone in the capital knew that Miss Jiang was in love with the eldest prince. Though breathtakingly beautiful, she was not well liked at all. Even her arranged marriage was said to have been forced through by the power of her father and brothers.
In truth, it had not won her even a shred of the eldest prince's affection.
Until one day, they saw with their own eyes that proud and dignified eldest prince knocking at her family estate in the dead of night. As torrential rain poured down, the young man's eyes reddened as he begged for a chance to see her:
“Sui Sui, I love you.”
Time flies. Once you let a chance slip by, it may never come again.
After I was reborn, my husband from my previous life had to call me Mother.
“Your Majesty, there aren't even any candied plums with your medicine today. Am I going to fall out of favor?” ︿( ̄︶ ̄)︿
*~[Reader's Guide and Content Warnings]~*~*~
(1) An alternate setting, very much so.
(2) The male lead is an emperor, and there is an age gap between him and the young girl. Emperor Yongyuan is 26 when he appears, while Sui Sui is 11, nearly 12, so the age gap is around 14 or 15 years.
(3) None of the four princes is the male lead's biological son. He knows this, and it is all part of his plan.
(4) In the first twenty chapters, the forms of address “His Majesty” and “Your Majesty” are used interchangeably. In later dialogue, “Your Majesty” is used more often.
If you can't accept this setup, please leave quickly, dear readers. There's a whole world of stars and seas outside! Zhizhi knows this story is old-fashioned, and I'll be the first to criticize my writing and logic. If you still want to complain, please be just a little gentle. Sending love~

Pre-release: My Frail Husband, Whom I Picked Up, Became a God of War
As the youngest daughter of the largest imperial merchant family in Jiangnan, Yuan Jinse had a dog leash made of gold. One day, her father borrowed it, and when he returned, he had not only the leash but also a handsome, refined scholar tied up with it. He said the man was to be her future husband.
Yuan Jinse had a “secret” known to everyone: she looked delicate, but for some reason, she had been born with incredible strength. At her childhood grabbing ceremony, she had effortlessly snapped a table made of red sandalwood in front of everyone.
Fortunately, the man came from another county and had no idea about this. Her father managed to fool him.
The little girl looked at his radiant, refined features and nodded firmly.
Three years later, he became the top scholar and returned home in glory. The Yuan family spent ten thousand taels of silver entertaining guests to celebrate their youngest daughter's wedding. But on the wedding day, the top scholar brought a frail, willowy woman to the hall and said he wanted to take her as a concubine.
Yuan Jinse looked at the woman's slightly rounded belly, lifted her own red wedding veil woven from Shu brocade, and hurled the golden apple in her hands at the “Double Happiness” character displayed in the hall.
With a crash, bricks and stones came tumbling down. The woman was so frightened she nearly miscarried. The top scholar hurried away with his beloved in his arms, leaving the hall full of guests behind.
Later, when the man took a concubine, the young girl spotted a handsome young man passed out by the roadside. He was a hundred times better-looking than her former betrothed, so she simply took him home and crashed the concubine-taking ceremony.
Three months into their marriage, Yuan Jinse discovered that her husband, whom she had picked up on a whim, was not only handsome but also considerate and gentle. He was simply a little frail and a little blind, so she needed to take good care of him.
Whenever Yuan Jinse held her husband's hand, she did so carefully, gripping only his fingertips for fear that squeezing too hard might break his porcelain-like hand.
Thankfully, after he had taken ginseng and glossy ganoderma by the cartload, her husband, who used to cough three times with every step, finally grew a little stronger. At least he no longer fell ill at the slightest breeze. The little girl was delighted and counted down the days until she could consummate her marriage.
Who would have thought that a thief would break into the Yuan home one night, and, of all places, blunder into her husband's courtyard?
Yuan Jinse rushed in, frantic. In the hazy moonlight, she saw the thief leaning over, pinning her husband beneath him.
Without a second thought, the little girl charged forward, raised her hand, and tossed him over the wall.
Her husband was so frail. She had to be careful not to let anyone crush him.
Turning back to Gu Hua's cool, unfocused eyes, the little girl wiped her hand on her skirt and said sweetly, “Husband, there was a huge moth on your shoulder just now. It scared me so much.”
Gu Hua smiled tenderly. He placed one hand behind his back and reached out with the other, cupping the little girl's delicate face.
In the hand hidden behind his back was a sleeve knife, its blade running red with blood in the moonlight.
His fingertips were warm. His thumb gently wiped the blood from the corner of the little girl's eye, and the tenderness between his brows captivated Jinse.
“Don't be afraid.”
Outside the Yuan family's wall, the thief lay on his back, a thin red line across his neck.
A frail, blind God of War general X a lovely little girl born with incredible strength who tries hard to act delicate
Theme: Brave the brambles and thorns, and you will find happiness
This book is really exactly the same as the plot of a certain book, so...
I came here because of its reputation. It's really like that book. I'm really convinced.
Selfishly, I still want to have more extra stories about the emperor and empress, but I can't bear to part with it!
I like this extra story, but I don't understand where the emperor's love for the heroine in his previous life came from.
The image of the male protagonist in this article is still very vivid, but it's just that he didn't know the reason for it, and his past life in the extra chapter was not explained.
This is the most complicated path to becoming a queen in the emperor's novels I have read... What is the origin of the past life? Why did the male protagonist seek the rebirth of the female protagonist in front of gods and Buddhas?
What's going on? The plot of this book is exactly the same as the one I read before, The Empress and Her Majesty. I thought the author had changed the title of the book, but I didn't expect that it was not written by the same author.
Woohoo, I want to see the author continue to write extra stories about raising a baby. Suisui and Shengshang are really good at fighting each other.
Awesome! But... We really don't know whether the baby is a boy or a girl.
It's very beautiful. I like it very much. It's a blatant preference. Sui Lang has done it. Sui Lang and Sui Lang will be safe every year~
