Transmigrate, Draw Cards, and Build a Nation

Omai transmigrated and got a new name: Ojin Max. He was thirteen years old and a newly appointed count. He had a vast estate and a father who was a grand duke. On this land, his word carried more weight than the law. He ought to have been sleeping in a soft bed, eating the finest food, keeping pets and riding horses, and enjoying the most comfortable life imaginable without having to do a thing. But his people were emaciated. They did the hardest work, lived on the fewest beans, paid the highest taxes, and lived in the shabbiest homes. Omai made a grand vow: "I want to be a person, and I want them to be people." His abilities were limited, but fortunately he had a golden finger, a product of whatever had caused him to transmigrate: some unknown card-drawing game, possibly an otome game, that only drew handsome men. The first was a gentle, white-haired hunk whose medicinal cuisine tasted amazing. The second was a baby-faced, red-haired knight, though he had no horse. The third was a cold, blue-haired strategist whose choices would stump anyone with decision paralysis. The fourth was a cute, pink-haired boy... Reforming tax laws, building roads, raising livestock... "O brilliant pearl, beautiful Jumal. There, people are treated as people; the rules make all things clear, labor is rewarded, and crimes are judged. It is heaven on earth." From Ode to Jumal A story about earnestly developing the land. Theme: For the happiness of the people
