Secret Lover

Movie star Shen Yunji is an untouchable beauty in show business. Handsome beyond compare and unfailingly polite in front of the cameras, he is distant behind the scenes and keeps everyone at arm's length. In ten years since his debut, he has never been involved in so much as a rumor.

No one knows he has a lover, hidden away in his palatial Yun Jian villa.

He spends the night there now and then. In that place, he becomes someone else: passionate, unhinged, obsessed...

When Xu Ling was twenty, her father's company went bankrupt. Her family moved out of their mansion and to another city with her parents, and she blocked every way of contacting her boyfriend, Shen Yunji.

When Xu Ling was twenty-two, her family was struggling financially, so she went to a film set to make a living as a stunt double and extra. The leading man in that production was Shen Yunji.

During a break, a staff member asked her to go to Shen Yunji's van.

Leaning against his seat, his features sharp and his expression gloomy, he stayed silent for a long while before saying, "I've never changed my phone number."

Xu Ling kept her head down, quietly curling her fingers around the edge of her sleeve. She was afraid the grime from the mud she'd just rolled in would stain Shen Yunji's leather seat.

Later, Shen Yunji took Xu Ling to the Yun Jian villa, where she became his secret lover, hidden from the world.
