I
An actress with talent but no opportunities, Xing Muyao, quits the industry in disappointment after years as a nobody. She complains on Weibo: "What a garbage era. Acting talent is useless!"
But she gets a mysterious reply: "Click here. Acting talent matters here."
With a tap of her finger, Xing Muyao enters a magical murder-mystery role-playing venue.
The DM is a black cat. "This place lets you transmigrate to different worlds and eras, giving you an immersive experience."
A tragic feud between immortals in the primordial age,
A massacre in the cultivation world,
Scheming and intrigue on a magical continent,
Keeping your head down amid the chaos of the apocalypse,
The cause of a war in the interstellar future,
The DM elegantly swishes its tail. "You're the murderer. Use your acting skills to clear your name, meow~"
Xing Muyao: "..."
II
Bai Yuwen, whose origins and identity are unknown, has maintained a perfect record at the venue thanks to her brilliant logic.
That is, until one day, a drama queen shows up...
DM: "You're the detective. Use your reasoning to expose the drama queen, meow~"
Bai Yuwen lightly adjusts her gold-rimmed glasses, slowly raises her eyes, and gives her a noble, aloof look.
"Miss Xing, please begin your performance."
