For video footage, Meng Zhuyu, a famous paranormal-content creator, ventures alone into a supposedly haunted hotel, only to unexpectedly transmigrate to a parallel world.
In this world, she has a different job, a different family, and a completely different life. She is currently missing, her fate unknown.
Since she has the same face as the missing woman, Meng Zhuyu is naturally mistaken for her, and the police withdraw the missing-person report from the System.
To prove that she isn't the other woman and return to her original world, Meng Zhuyu has to find the one who disappeared.
