A Secret Summer

Blurb: That year, a girl in the bloom of youth walked out of her school gates. That year, she saw that darkness lay behind the light. She chose to compromise, letting others go and letting herself go, too. Perhaps that is what growing up means. Because all she wants is to protect the people she loves. There is always darkness in this world. She is merely a faintly shining star in the vast universe. She cannot become the sun that illuminates the world. Theme: Keep striving every day.
