Yan Xiaoxi and Feng Yuanyuan are two completely homebound girls and ordinary students at Shengdi Academy. One is a bit of a fujoshi, while the other has an older-sister vibe. By chance, or perhaps by design, the two of them fall through a sewer into another world: the Orantu Empire. In the mysterious and glamorous Orantu Empire, they meet handsome men from the aristocracy, including the kindhearted Prince Nalan Ruo, who would rather be deceived than refuse to help others and is “unbeatable in his gentleness, yet utterly delicate”; the hot-tempered, fiercely possessive great general Xuanyuan Xiao, who won’t let anyone touch what belongs to him; and the ruler of Orantu, who falls in love at first sight with Feng Yuanyuan because she looks exactly like his mother and he has a serious mother complex...
In a world full of handsome men, Yan Xiaoxi’s fujoshi instincts kick in and she wants to pair them all off, while Feng Yuanyuan can only try to stop her, overwhelmed... This leads to plenty of funny mishaps. In short, their lives suddenly become a chaotic yet wonderful mess.
And as they delve deeper into Orantu’s royal family, secret after secret is revealed.
Note: This story mixes silly comedy with magical palace intrigue and a tragic romance.
