The End
Immortal Venerable Qiao's little disciple is obedient and beautiful, well-read, and hardworking... The little disciple is perfect in every way. By contrast, the Immortal Venerable's future Dao companion is the only female immortal among the four immortals of Linglan Mountain. She is beautiful, to be sure, but has a disagreeable temperament. She only takes handsome men as disciples, is harsh and demanding toward the juniors of other sects, and is cold and aloof even toward the Immortal Venerable.
So when the little disciple developed feelings for the Immortal Venerable that he should not have, everyone noticed, but no one pointed it out or spoke up on behalf of the Immortal Venerable's future Dao companion.
It wasn't until rumors of this little scandal spread down the mountain and the female immortal's disciples, who had completed their cultivation and left the mountain, came to urge their master to see that the Immortal Venerable was not someone she could entrust herself to, that their master, Pang Gu, said nothing and sent them all away.
Pang Gu was not unaware of what was happening, but to her the Immortal Venerable was like a god. Becoming his Dao companion was something she had never dared even dream of, so how could she presume to ask for anything more? And so, when the Immortal Venerable doted on his little disciple, giving him magic artifacts and cultivation resources, Pang Gu did not dare refuse.
Then, during the battle against the evil spirits, the Immortal Venerable broke Pang Gu's righteous spirit formation in his desperation to save his disciple. This allowed the evil spirits to counterattack and steal her righteous spirit. From then on, Pang Gu lost all her spiritual power and became a cripple. She lost her position as an immortal and grew so weak that even an ordinary human man could hurt her.
The Immortal Venerable felt guilty and agreed to fulfill his promise by officially becoming Pang Gu's Dao companion. On the day of the ceremony, Pang Gu asked through her tears, "So you do still remember that I'm your Dao companion."
The Immortal Venerable replied with a tense expression, "I know you resent me, but there's no point in revisiting who was right or wrong. Once the ceremony is over, I will protect you forever."
Pang Gu smiled. "This lowly immortal Pang Gu wishes the Immortal Venerable boundless success in his cultivation and perfection in his merits." After saying this, she lost consciousness and her spirit faded away. She collapsed.
From then on, Immortal Venerable Qiao's You'ao Palace became a forbidden place on Linglan Mountain. No one but him was allowed inside, and even his beloved disciple was mercilessly thrown out when he wandered in by mistake.
In the vast, silent You'ao Palace, Qiao entered the inner chamber and spoke tenderly to the unconscious body on the bed. "A'Gu, my patience is limited. Don't be too naughty. I'll give you one more year. If you still won't wake up... You don't know this, but I looked through your disciple register. You have 181 disciples scattered across the world. A year from now, I'll spend one day finding them, then kill them the next day. I'll kill one every two days, and by the time they're all dead, it'll be about another year. If you don't want your disciples to suffer, then wake up obediently. I promise I'll never make you sad again, all right?"
The Immortal Venerable Qiao of this moment had none of the bearing of an immortal. His face was full of malice, his eyes gloomy. Though his voice was gentle, his words were cruel beyond measure. The faint wisp of spiritual energy that had been floating beside Pang Gu couldn't help shivering. It then decided not to return to its original body and fled from this place.
Coming soon: The Second Lady, releasing in March. Blurb:
When Li Su heard the eunuch report that the Second Lady was going to jump off the city wall, he didn't take it seriously. Wang Er was always spoiled and willful, making a scene whenever she got upset. He assumed this time would be no different, so he kept writing with his imperial brush and answered without even looking up, "Leave her be."
Who could have known that just after he'd finished reviewing half a basket of memorials, the chief palace eunuch would come in practically rolling across the floor to report that the Second Lady had jumped. This time, Li Su was the one practically rolling across the floor. He couldn't stand when he finally saw the small figure lying beneath the city wall in the distance. His knees gave way as he fell, his arms too weak to support his body as he tried to crawl toward her.
Though Wang Er was the second child in her family, Wang Er was not her real name. The emperor had made it up in a fit of anger while arguing with her. But an emperor's words could not be taken back, and the title Second Lady became a lifelong humiliation. She had once had a lovely, dignified name: Chengrou. Before Wang Chengrou jumped, she was excited and elated. She had finally made it to the day she could stop living for other people. Her mother had been bedridden for two years and passed away last month. Her older brother and sister-in-law had boarded a ship bound for the distant seas. Her personal maid had married a famous border general known as the God of War, giving her someone powerful to rely on.
She had cast off everything that could be used against her. There was no one left in this world for Wang Er to care about. Over the years, Li Su had worn away her armor, pride, sharpness, and confidence, until all her hopes and expectations for him had vanished. Then he began to threaten her with her family and force her to treat him as she once had.
Rather than live in misery, powerless to change her circumstances, it was better to leave. If she had another life, she would never live as she had in this one. She would find another way to live.
Note: The story begins with her jumping, then being reborn.
Please add this to your reading list, thank you! Title: Regret
Blurb 1:
When Shen Baoyong entered the Marquis of Liu'an's manor, she couldn't tell whether it was good luck or bad. On the surface, she had become the marquis's daughter, but in reality, she was a burden her mother had brought along when she remarried into the manor. Worse, she wasn't even her mother's biological daughter. She was just a little beggar her mother had picked up.
The young ladies of the manor looked down on her and bullied her. But Shen Baoyong had used the same tricks when she was a beggar to catch her mother's attention and get adopted. This was nothing. She handled them with ease and always managed to make them suffer in secret.
The only person in the whole manor she was wary of and kept her distance from was the eldest son of the Marquis of Liu'an, Bo Qie. She knew he was someone she absolutely must not scheme against or get involved with.
Later, Shen Baoyong discovered that none of her schemes worked anymore. Her options grew narrower and narrower, until in the end there was only one path left: ask the intimidating eldest young master for help.
So be it. It wasn't a big deal. She had always been the one to bow to life's demands, and it had always worked out well enough. So Shen Baoyong often spoke of him as her elder brother, acting respectful and ingratiating, hoping that when it came to marriage, she could rely on the eldest young master's help to find a good match.
But she never expected that, little by little, this help would land her in the "cage" he had been plotting to build for a long time. From then on, her brother was nowhere to be seen, and he forced her to call him "Brother" again and again.
Blurb 2:
To Bo Qie, it meant nothing that his father had gone out and brought a woman home. But the little girl that woman brought along forced him to take notice.
A lowborn peasant, convinced she had a little cunning, she had manipulated her adoptive mother and successfully toyed with his sheltered, shallow-minded sisters. Her life was lowly, but her ambitions were lofty. Unhappy with her lot, she wanted to use the Bo family as a stepping stone to marry into a family far above her station.
Bo Qie had never tolerated anything he considered beneath him. He couldn't stand to see his family suffer a loss, and he wouldn't allow the reputation of the Marquis of Liu'an's manor to be sullied. He would show no mercy in dealing with her, even if she were that woman's biological daughter rather than an adopted one.
She did have one redeeming quality: little by little, she came to understand that there was only one way to live well, and that was to cling to him, please him, and revere him and the Bo family. In recognition of her good sense, he could put the past behind them and find her a good match.
She eventually did exactly that, putting away her scheming and claws and becoming obedient and compliant. But he regretted his decision. None of the good matches Shen Baoyong could hope for were what Bo Qie wanted for her. Her only future was with him.
Theme: Even if your heart holds the whole world, cherish those who treat you well. And when you receive, remember to give in return.
It's a bit cliche to deepen relationships when in trouble. Now these two people have absolutely no similarities with the male and female protagonists of the novel.
No →_→ I was thinking that when the heroine is reborn, shouldn't she be domineering and abuse the scumbag? The good guy is reborn and is tortured by the bitchy male protagonist again? ? ?
It can be seen that the author put great care and thought into this work, and the concept is also very novel. An unexpected novel.
Well, if this can be done, the heroine may not be a masochist.
This plot is so outrageous. . .
So the Immortal Lord is a Demon Lord. Except for Pangu replacing Zhuyan, he is now a demon. That's right. 2333 Qi Ao doesn't look like a god or demon when he does things. 2333
Let me go, the Immortal Lord is the Demon Lord, right?? (?? ̄?? ̄? )?? ??
Now apart from his identity, the male protagonist has become disliked by everyone
The male protagonist is inexplicably in love. . . Where can such deep feelings come from...
When I first read the article and commented on it, I thought it was a bit ridiculous, but I was so bored at the time that I finished it. I felt that the previous points were completely explainable in the ending after reading it, so why don't you just complain about it and bias others after reading it halfway through? The concept is really good.
