[I took some time off at home and played a few games. Suddenly, I had another idea using this as a framework, so I'm going to make major revisions. Sorry, to those who added it to your collections at the beginning: if you can't accept the new plot, feel free to remove it. August 26]
A birthday story for the Minotaur I keep at home. I hope you learn to balance and show restraint in both games and life.
Blurb (if it can even be called that)
Yuan Meng dies by accident while trying out a game, and his consciousness is assimilated into the game, turning him into an NPC by a lake.
Yuan Meng: Young man, which did you drop, this golden sword or this silver sword?
1203: ...I clearly dropped a loaf of bread.
Yuan Meng: Didn't hear you. Take it or leave it. (He tosses both swords onto the ground, with a few crumbs of bread still at the corner of the NPC's mouth.)
Yuan Meng: Becoming an NPC is one thing. I could even put up with people grinding my affinity, but what is this supposed to mean: "Once your affinity reaches a certain threshold, you will be bound as a player's companion"? Can I just throw up all those benefits now?!
Catlike (personality) man x doglike (appearance) man
A first-person writing exercise, a cliché game-adventure story. The past, present, and future have never been separate.
Content warnings: 1. A writing exercise, irregular updates.
2. A story the author impulsively started, meant to be a cathartic venting piece.
Theme: The future (what's fun isn't the game, it's us)
