Sweet Summer

1. An Yi gets into a public argument with her ex-boyfriend. In her fury, she loses her head and grabs a random passerby, giving him a passionate French kiss on the spot. Her ex flies into a rage and knocks the passerby to the ground before storming off. She is about to leave too when the boy, his mouth bloodied beneath the streetlight, calls out to her.

She shoves a few bills at him and drives away.

Half a month later, karma catches up with her. She follows her roommate to her hometown to escape the summer heat, and by the lakeside she sees a boy with his upper body bare, water running down his abs.

It's the very same passerby who had the worst luck in the world.

An Yi: "..."

2. A glass of mojito, the endless drone of cicadas, a sea-blue dress and a white wide-brimmed hat, an old movie playing on a screen, orange soda beaded with water droplets, a watermelon chilling in the well, a stone path so hot it burns your feet.

This is a story about summer.

#It doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, I simply love you#
