A handsome new bartender has arrived at Lupin Bar. The first time they meet, Dazai Osamu invites him, "Young man, would you be interested in joining me in a double suicide?"
The glass falls from Sakaguchi Ango's hand and hits the floor. Oda Sakunosuke's expression doesn't change, though his gaze grows a little vacant.
The young man across from them smiles faintly and replies, perfectly composed:
"No, I refuse."

Later, the trio of the Decay of the Angel defect from the Port Mafia. After two years spent cleaning up their records, Dazai Osamu and Oda Sakunosuke are handed over by Director Taneda to a member of the Armed Detective Agency who has come to meet them.
After the mission, Dazai Osamu looks at the man standing before him, his expression cool and distant, and finally can't resist pinning him in a corner. "After all these years, you're still so cold. Was all that doting back then for nothing?"
A kiss silences him.
