After losing his memory in a car accident, Yao Jing wakes up penniless. Thanks, but he just got his life back and has no plans to risk it again.
"You are a genius surgeon."
Yao Jing: ?
"Your hands are nimble. Dissection and suturing are your specialties. You know the fatal weak points of all kinds of creatures..."
"Take part in the missions. Huge amounts of points are within easy reach."
Yao Jing: Are you some kind of scam app?
"I am your cheat."
"I can give you all kinds of bug-level surgical tools, and help you recover your lost memories..."
"I'll even help you take back this paradise."
Emotionless, corrupted surgeon shou x cowardly, shamelessly flirtatious hacker gong
The scenarios are nested. Three small settings combine to make one complete instance.
Beginner world (modern setting + slight supernatural elements):
1. The Three Legends of the Merfolk
2. God's Amusement Park
3. The Judgment Train
Intermediate world (cyberpunk)
1. Brain Invaders
2. Neuromancer
Advanced world (this is a plot point)
Reading guide:
· The gong has lots of secret identities early on. He'll gradually (or maybe all at once) shed them.
· The Human-Made Intelligence Project, Volume Two. Volume One, Collecting Boss Cards in Infinite Locked Rooms, and Volume Three, The Entire Interstellar World Is Forced to Depend on Me, are both complete. You can read this without the other two, but you'll unlock lots of character and worldbuilding easter eggs by reading them in order.
· Read on its own, this book mainly establishes the worldbuilding for the series, as well as laying a great deal of groundwork between the previous and following volumes. The protagonist appears in both the preceding and following books.
Coming soon: I Won by Playing Dumb
Everyone says the bosses in this escape game are vicious. They hate players so much that they kill you without giving you a chance to negotiate.
No one knows what they look like, because everyone who does know has failed to survive.
But recently, something unexpected happened: an exceptionally powerful player named [Falcon] entered the game.
Defeat a boss and you can earn an extra reward, giving you an advantage in the next instance. Other players all assume [Falcon] must have received a reward from a boss.
[Falcon] never admits to meeting a boss, and never shares any information about them, but he clears each instance quickly, carrying a reward with him every time.
In fact, [Falcon] discovered one of the boss's secrets: the boss is incredibly softhearted. Once, he pretended to slip so he could kill the boss when he came close, but the boss carefully helped him back up.
Not only that, the boss kindly told him that the game was dangerous, and that players fought one another fiercely. A fool like him had to be careful.
Then he sent him on his way.
[Falcon]: "A fool"?
Got it. I'll play dumb from now on.
--
The boss has a secret: he can't remember why he became the boss of every level, or why he hates the players so much, but he can't stop himself from attacking them.
He thinks he must be an awakened NPC.
Until one day, he discovers that the fool he keeps letting go out of pity sneaks off to steal his hidden "treasures" whenever he's not around.
The sight feels strangely familiar.
Suddenly, he remembers how he became a boss:
A long time ago, he was a player in this game too, and the top-ranked one.
He always had a foolish teammate by his side, someone who probably wouldn't survive even half an episode alone, and whom he had to carry all the way.
Just as their team was about to clear the game, he suddenly died for no apparent reason, and later became an amnesiac boss.
Now, the more he looks at this fool, the more he resembles that fool.
A love-hate relationship across two lifetimes (crossed out) + first round: exceptionally powerful player x exceptionally powerful player; second round: player who plays the pig to eat the tiger x ruthless, heartless boss.
1. Their relationship isn't what the blurb makes it seem. It'll be explained later. They're simply made for each other.
2. The gong's appearance changes after he becomes a boss, so the shou doesn't recognize him.

Damn, your paintings are so beautiful!!!
The next fantasy book should be written about this: "After the mutation, I relied on my breathing to lie down and win". If you like it, you can save it~ Changes occur frequently around the world. The outer walls of apartments are covered with tentacles that grow infinitely. After the rain, the water in the street is full of eyeballs... The Sentinel Team, composed of "B-class humans", came into being. They were sent into an unknown environment to use their bodies to test the harmful effects of pollution on the human body. When the pollution reaches a dangerous level that alienates them, they will be executed and their antemortem data recorded. On average, the Sentinels performed no more than five missions. Name: Karasawa Missions performed: 38 times Note: Ordinary humans with no qualifications have escaped mutated attacks many times due to their cowardice and luck. It does not contribute much to environmental inspections and can be dispatched when needed to make up the numbers. In the mission monitoring room, Tangze shivered in the corner. The moment the surveillance screen disappeared, he raised his head, his eyes full of disdain and ridicule. After a heavy pollution mission, he was inhabited by an S-class mutant, and he recovered by absorbing the mutant's health. He doesn't want to be an innocent cannon fodder. When the S-class mutant in his body revives, he will stand at the top of the world and trample under his feet those who once regarded him as nothing. Fang Xuyu, a special operations captain composed of A-level people, saw Tang Ze's file during a cleanup and determined that he was not because of good luck, but because of his rare purification ability. When Tang Ze was called to talk by Fang Xuyu, he was thinking about how to quietly deal with the person who discovered his secret. Unexpectedly, Fang Xuyu said: "In the past, when decorating, people would put some green baskets to absorb formaldehyde. I think your lungs, like the green baskets, can keep the polluted gases you inhale in your body and reduce the impact of the environment on other people." Karasawa: ... It seems a little right, but also a little wrong. Fang Xuyu: "The filtration of the gas mask is not 100%. I have a lot of tasks recently and I need someone to help me reduce the pollution value. You don't have to do anything, just breathe next to me." Fang Xuyu: "Although this will definitely be harmful to your body, it is still a job in the Sentinel. If you follow me, at least the food and treatment will be much better, and there will be holidays." Tangze: "... I'll do it." Fang Xuyu is a high-level captain. The places he can go to have high pollution levels, and there must be many high-level alienated substances. Tangze thought secretly. He also asked him to take a deep breath. Wasn't this playing into his game? The first cross-level team to partner up is invincible in the mission. Fang Xuyu: "My assistant is powerless, I must protect him." Until one day, the S-class mutant in Tangze's body absorbed enough health points and suddenly revealed its true form during the mission. Fang Xuyu, who witnessed a room full of mutated objects being easily crushed to death, took a deep breath and closed the door forcefully. "I must be dreaming." "Right? You are powerless, right?" Tang Ze, who became three times as tall as Fang Xuyu and was surrounded by evil spirits, nodded. "Yes, Captain, protect me quickly." The overlord flower shou who pretends to be a pothos looks like a boss but is actually a stupid dog gong
You don't even feel guilty when you lie.
It's really hard for him not to curse.
Yes, Xiao An is Xiaoan, so he will attack
Seeing this, I feel a little confused. I don't feel that the protagonist is very wise. He keeps asking questions and is dissatisfied.
Sorry, but this accent makes me laugh so hard hahahaha
Do you suffer from sleepwalking? I'm laughing so hard. You're so polite.
