How to Raise a Mermaid Hatchling

The protagonist is a food streamer. He's gorgeous, but his poor communication skills have kept him from becoming popular.

One time, while changing the water in his fish tank, he unexpectedly found a mermaid baby.

The little thing was only as big as his palm, with long golden hair, pale blue amber eyes, chubby cheeks, and a clumsy, heavy golden tail.

He hid behind a coral tree, eyes brimming with tears, trembling as he looked at the protagonist.

The protagonist: So cute! I'm keeping him!

The mermaid baby loved the dishes the protagonist made. After every meal, his cheeks puffed up adorably.

The viewers in the protagonist's livestream were completely enchanted, flooding the screen with messages like "Aaaah!" and "I want one, too!"

From that day on, the protagonist became famous.

One night, the mermaid emperor's memories returned. After changing back to his original form, his first order of business was to settle things with the protagonist.

He went to the protagonist's room and found him asleep. Lifting the protagonist's chin with his slender fingers, he revealed his sharp fangs and said in a low, melodious voice, "I'm hungry..."

The protagonist, pretending to be asleep but actually wide awake: Aaaah! What do I do if my baby wants to eat me? Help, urgently!
