Toyama Itsuki is a detective. In her second year of university, she was hailed as the Miss Sherlock Holmes of the Heisei era.
Detective Toyama transmigrated to a place called Beika Town and was even bound to a detective System, something she was especially good at using.

The natural-perm guy tried desperately to stop them, crying and pleading: "The silver hair was all an act! Even the long hair!"
But his family turned and walked away, as if afraid this curly-haired guy would latch onto them.
Only then did Detective Toyama realize she'd been fooled. The white-haired good-for-nothing stray cat she'd adopted seemed to be her problem now.
What was she supposed to do? He wanted to open an odd-jobs shop, and had already started getting everything ready. But Beika Town was a crime-fighting hotspot where every inch of land was worth a fortune. They couldn't even afford the rent!

A group of high school girls surrounded him, screaming, "Ginpachi-sensei!"
The head of a kendo dojo fell to his knees and begged him to teach him a killer technique.
The top host at Kabukicho looked just like him.
What was going on with all of this!?
Detective Toyama felt like she was being fooled again today, but with rent weighing on her, she could only work hard to complete her assignments. She couldn't let herself end up sleeping on the street with the useless white cat.
