Gojo and Geto are students at Jujutsu High.

During the Star Plasma Vessel incident, they watched the Heavenly Restriction tyrant, who was about to fight them, take a phone call, hurriedly toss out, "I'm done fighting," and immediately turn around and leave.

The sharp-eared boys froze for several seconds, then looked at each other and confirmed what they'd heard.

"Was that idiot's voice on the other end just now?"

Gojo and Geto have a classmate who's incapable of taking care of herself.

When she first transferred in, her behavior was as bizarre and unpredictable as the protagonist in an English listening test. She couldn't put on her clothes or sleep in a bed properly. If no one stopped her, she'd strip in the middle of the street and rummage through trash. She had about as much common sense as a caveman.

After she started getting assigned to exorcise curses, she was constantly covered in bandages and gauze. If you looked away for a second, she'd trip. Sometimes she couldn't hear or see, and she often spaced out. Sometimes she wouldn't even react when called. She could get lost hundreds of times on the way from school to the bus stop. Even their homeroom teacher, Yaga, reminded them to keep a close eye on her, so he wouldn't have to go fetch her from the lost children's office again.

Meanwhile, you, the player everyone worried themselves sick over, the helpless, frail one who couldn't take care of herself: ?

Getting hurt all the time is part of the skill setup. You poke me and I don't react because my character is temporarily offline and idling. As for getting lost...

You can't make sense of this damn map that marks even the layout of the sewers!

An RPG player who doesn't care what happens to anyone else and only wants to have fun everywhere x a bunch of unlucky NPCs who start feeling sorry for the player by making up their own explanations later on

1. Characters may act out of character, the logic is questionable, I'm bad at plot-driven stories, and the timeline is messy.

2. It has the kind of abstract antics unique to RPG stories. Don't read if that's not your thing.

3. The first half focuses on the main plot, and the second half on the romance. Read whichever you like.

The author's humor can be pretty crude. Comments that take things too far will be deleted.

Th-This time, you'll pick a younger, more innocent human! You'll win back some dignity!

"Tremble in fear! I am the legendary... Huh?"

So scary! Why does that little guy in sunglasses look so much like the one in your last nightmare when he takes them off?!

"Hey, Suguru, what did I just blast down with [Blue]? It has a tail and a heart!"

"Huh, that's interesting. A demon? Why is there a sticker on her belly button?"

"She looks like trouble. If she hadn't run into us, she would've ruined a whole bunch of poor virgins, wouldn't she?"

"Yeah. Looks like we'd better exorcise her right away."

But years later, the childhood friend dies and turns into a terrifying monster, and the boy who grew up alongside you changes completely a year later.

You: Waaah, none of you are normal!

I feel like the two of them are going to eat me alive!
