While at university, she met seventeen-year-old Shiho Miyano, and the two hit it off immediately, always getting together to talk shop. Once Shiho had graduated and left, she quickly earned her doctorate and went to make a life for herself in Japan.
One day, she happened to save a woman in black and never expected the woman to cling to her. After several surgeries, she accepted her, but she never thought she'd eventually fall for her. Once she realized how she felt, she whisked the woman away.
