Currently serializing: a crime-solving partner is a ghost. If this sounds interesting, feel free to add it to your favorites. Thanks!
Xie Qizhi: Thanks for asking. I'm at the police station, the case is already solved, and all I want now is a good night's sleep :).
[Case One: Chant]
Winter, 2010. A citizen discovers a woman's body in a narrow alley.
Was it a crime of passion... or premeditated murder?
[Case Two: Gift]
Surveillance footage from a residential complex shows a high school girl returning home, but her parents report her missing and ask the police to open an investigation immediately.
At the same time, investigators have learned that a ruthless serial killer who targets women has infiltrated the city.
Will the serial killer strike again... or is someone else responsible?
Xie Qizhi: I'm working 24/7 again today :D.
Reader's Guide:
1. The story is entirely fictional, with standalone cases. Early hints that have yet to be explained all serve the main plot.
2. It focuses on an ensemble cast, everyday life, and a slow-burn pace. This author is terrible at writing blurbs, so I'm bowing my head to all you lovely readers!
3. The author has no experience in criminal investigation. If you spot any plot holes, let's discuss them together~
A little plug:
0. A Crime-Solving Partner Is a Ghost
Ji Mingzhu goes fishing by the river before reporting for duty at the Criminal Investigation Division.
Naturally, there are no fish.
But there is one ghost.
The ghost stands with hands on hips: I'm actually a kind, brave, hardworking, one-in-a-million detective prodigy, both aboveground and underground ^^.
Ji Mingzhu: Please translate that into plain language.
The ghost: I'm a born crime-solving perpetual-motion machine, of course OvO!
Later,
they join forces to solve a string of shocking major criminal cases.
She personally brings the ghost back from hell.
They become legends in law enforcement.

1. The Livestream Baby-Raising Plan
To protect the orphaned young of endangered species scattered across different planes, the impoverished livestream System 030 puts its talents to use and opens a baby-raising livestream, finding countless virtual guardians for the little ones...
Viewers: Raising a baby online? I'm in. I love it.
Baby No. 1: Raising the Ocean's Adorable Little Ruler
Livestream announcement: Pannuo is the only mermaid baby on Tata Star. Rare and adorable, with a wonderfully sweet scent, Pannuo attracts countless vicious sea beasts...
Beneath the announcement, the legendary little mermaid opens its pale golden, vertically slit eyes and stares curiously ahead. Its light-colored tail fin swishes from side to side, sending ripples through the water.
After staring for a few seconds, the little mermaid flicks its tail and swims over to the glowing comments screen. It tilts its head in confusion, then reaches out and pokes. Nothing.
There are fishies it can't touch?! (shocked.jpg)
Viewers, their hearts melting at the sight: Such an adorable baby! I'm raising it!
And so the newly appointed virtual guardians frantically order survival guides to the ocean, vowing to protect their baby from being bullied or carried off by vicious beasts.
Then the livestream's daily routine becomes...
[Baby, that's an orca, a merciless liver-ripping shark! Stop flirting with it already, ahhhhh!]
The little mermaid quickly lets go of the orca's tail fin. It looks at the orca, then at the comments, and asks tentatively: But it swims so fast. I really want to surf with it~
[???]
[Baby! Don't stick your head into the great white shark's mouth!!!]
Startled by the screenful of exclamation marks, the little mermaid quickly swims away with its head in its hands. After reading the comments, it says, aggrieved: I just wanted to count how many teeth it has qaq.
[???]
Under the constant anxious supervision of its virtual guardians, the little mermaid finally grows into...
The ocean's adorable little ruler (X)
The ocean's overlord (check)
Virtual guardians: What do we do if our baby grows up all wrong?!
The baby flicks its beautiful tail, blinks its big eyes, and innocently blows bubbles: .o O
Virtual guardians: Ahem, this kind of baby is super cute too!
Another happy day spent raising a baby~
Note: The livestream stays the same, with one baby per volume and a different baby each time. (The protagonist has no romantic pairing throughout the story.)
Theme: The law is vast and fine, and nothing escapes it.
I think this novel is super nice, and the storyline is full of ups and downs, making it exciting to read in one go. I like it ~ can't wait to see the updates
Woohoo I found this book from the homepage and couldn't stop reading it for two days in a row. The author writes so well! Salute to all comrades!
Zheng Yu is really an extraordinary character, smart and tolerant. Except for his younger brother who was manipulated and suffered a disadvantage, he was basically unharmed. And when he fought back, no innocent people were affected, which is very rare. In fact, I really want to know how Zheng Yu was protected by his boss, and is the death of his parents related to the Jia family? I don't even want to watch the last episode. People with abnormal brains and people who don't treat others as human beings are the scum of scum.
Good guy, good guy. I originally thought he was just a simple scumbag, but who would have thought that he was actually a superstitious cultist. . . . . . Complex mood. Jpg. He should have been in a mental hospital from the beginning. This is called not being afraid that people are crazy, but being afraid that crazy people have high IQs?
I firmly believe that if we cannot even respect each other, it cannot be called love.
Jia Yuanshan is just a psychopath.
Jia Yuanshan and Meng Jieshu, real scum and perverts
Jia Yuanshan, an out-and-out perverted scumbag
So what kind of person is the gene provider who gave birth to these two scumbags?
I really feel like Zheng Yu was harassed by Jia Yuanshan when he was in high school.
