The Dragon Lord Is Forced to Ascend the Throne

Yin Yan wakes up to find herself in the body of a cannon-fodder supporting female character with the same name in a melodramatic interstellar novel. The original owner is a princess with D-level talent, secretly mocked as the Empire's disgrace. Her fiancé looks down on her, and after failing to break off their engagement, he cheats on her. Unable to accept this, the original owner goes out of her way to court disaster, eventually becoming a puppet of the Zerg and dying miserably on a frontier planet. After learning the plot, Yin Yan quickly gets back on her feet and breaks off the engagement overnight. A few days later, everyone knows that the useless princess has been accepted into military academy. Just as they're waiting to see her make a fool of herself, they realize the plot isn't going the way they expected. A D-level talent can pilot a mecha? Is it really that easy to become the Empire's number one? Why is this useless princess charging to the front lines to kill Zerg and winning the adoration of the masses? Years later, the dragon in question, now crowned empress, talks about what happened. Yin Yan says indignantly: I regret it so much! That military academy tricked me into enrolling by putting a gemstone at the entrance! Her adjutant says cautiously: Your Majesty, that was an energy stone that had already been drained. An overpowered, goofy heroine Theme: Work hard, fight on, and protect our home.
