Lin Shu, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, runs into He Chuxu, his childhood friend whom he lost touch with many years ago. To get close to He Chuxu, Lin Shu, who had already refused to work at his adoptive father's company, volunteers to join as general manager. He then pays a hefty salary to transfer He Chuxu from the legal department to be his assistant. And so begins a story of love and healing as they struggle against fate...
