"Detective Conan A" is an adult-oriented detective manga that focuses on the complexity of human nature and satirizes contemporary social issues. Its two most popular villains are Shiroi Toru, code-named Bourbon, and Kurosawa Jin, code-named Gin.
At the end of the manga, the organization is destroyed, and its members are surrounded by forces from all sides. Gin uses his last bullet to put the gravely wounded Bourbon out of his misery, then finds himself trapped by his nemesis, Shuichi Akai.
Gin would rather die, so he takes APTX4869.
When Gin opens his eyes again, he has returned to seven years earlier, when he was leading a mission with a group of rookies.
He looks around the safe house at FBI agent Rye, Shuichi Akai; Japanese Public Security officer Scotch, Hiromitsu Morofushi; and his good friend Bourbon, Shiroi Toru, who had been by his side until the very end.
Gin silently gives Bourbon a hug. Then, as Bourbon stares at him in bewilderment, he pulls out his gun and points it at the double agents.

Warnings:
- In the title, "Will Gin Dream of ABO Bourbon? A Worldline," the "A" labels a parallel world. You can understand the title as "Will Gin from Parallel World A foresee falling in love with Alpha Bourbon in Parallel World B?" The "Detective Conan A" in the blurb is fictional. Its overall style is like the first two hundred episodes of the real Detective Conan, a manga that gives elementary schoolers nightmares from beginning to end. In "Detective Conan A," Bourbon's real name is Shiroi Toru. Is he a real deal? This is based on Aoyama's original concept for Bourbon.
- The story takes place in "Detective Conan B," which is identical to the real Detective Conan in every way except that the characters' genders have been changed to ABO. Since this is a crossover, the timeline differs from the manga.
- All the members of the police academy group survive. Not a single one will die! Nobody is dying in my fanfiction!
- Pairing: Gin x Bourbon. Gin's soul from World A transmigrates to World B and falls in love with Alpha Bourbon. Both Gin and Bourbon are Alphas. Yes, I know Gin x Bourbon is a crack pairing, but it's not as crack as you might think. If you think this might be a problem for you, please don't read.
- The characters may be out of character. Dear readers, you probably figured that out as soon as you saw the Gin x Bourbon pairing. Without giving away spoilers, here are the warnings: Gin is livelier than in the original, and Bourbon's devotion to his country is less selfless.
