[Another writing exercise]
Seven hundred years ago
Xing Yu sat on a flourishing peach tree, holding a wine gourd. The somewhat famous, aloof immortal lord Qing Lin passed beneath the tree with several jars of wine, on his way to a banquet hosted by the Northern Lan Emperor.
Perhaps the wine was so pure and fragrant that the person in the tree stirred and called out to Qing Lin with an infuriating grin. "Hey, little immortal, how about giving me a jar of wine?"
Qing Lin: "...Go away."
Only later did Qing Lin learn that the man was the renowned wandering immortal Xing Yu of Yin Luo.
Seven hundred years later
The now-famous and peerless immortal lord Yu Ming Qing Lin was drinking alone beneath his own peach tree when he suddenly sensed something amiss. He snatched the sword from the white jade table and struck behind him.
Peach blossoms fluttered everywhere. He saw the man he had waited seven hundred years for standing before him. The man gently pushed aside the sword held to his throat with two fingers and grinned just as infuriatingly as ever. "A Lin, how about giving me a jar of wine?"
Qing Lin pressed his lips together. After a long moment, he lowered his sword. "Help yourself."
The bottom: A refined, spotless, aloof beauty like an exiled immortal
The top: A carefree, laid-back playboy like a rich young master
One-on-one, both pure, alternating top and bottom perspectives. There may be a little angst, so here's your spoiler in advance.
Another short writing exercise, and my first time writing historical fantasy. The cultivation stuff is all made up, so I hope you won't mind!
Finally, thanks for your support! Bows!
Theme: Drinking to drown one's sorrows only makes them worse
It's quite sweet. Both of them are very cute.
