(Marvel and DC) After I Died

Colin David, the last human polymath, watches his superhero friends skid straight into villainy one by one, then embark on an absolutely stellar journey of falling out with each other.

It leaves him severely traumatized. Every day, his depression practically kills him, yet he still struggles to save this hopeless world.

He really wishes the Extremis virus, world peace, the resistance, and everything else would just leave him alone. But he clearly can't abandon the friends who once shone so brightly.

Then one day, he dies in a daze.

Let's not even get into how absurd it is that he wakes up as a ghost, or how he later discovers that he keeps leaping through time and space with his own name as the keyword, making his friends cringe so hard they get goosebumps. Seriously, their parallel-world selves are right there watching him get publicly roasted!

He knows the relationships in his world are weird, and swears he had no idea his friends' inner thoughts were so tsundere. Come on, please don't look at him with those weird, guilty eyes.

Please!

1. Basically, everyone has a one-sided crush on the male lead. It's a brotherly bond that's almost like love. No pairing in the main story, though there may be some ambiguity.

2. The story draws on the Injustice League, Ultimate Iron Man, and Mutant Dynasty settings, with a fractured and confusing timeline. There is OOC characterization and original worldbuilding, so don't overanalyze it.

Theme: Friends should just be honest with each other, you guys!
