A Newbie? The Fourth Calamity?"] While sorting through her grandmother Reiko's belongings, Natsume happened upon two books that looked a lot like the Book of Friends. Then, on the first day, a fox showed up. It opened one of the books, which was filled with character portraits. "From now on, you'll be their Saniwa." On the second day, a lion showed up. It opened the other book, filled with beautiful cards. "From now on, you'll be the master of these Clow Cards." On the third day, Nyanko-sensei returned from a night of drinking and flew into a rage at the two uninvited guests. "Hey, Natsume! Why are there two extra yokai in the house?" And so, the cat, the fox, and the lion got into a fierce fight. Even Toko, who lived downstairs, noticed the commotion. "Takashi, is something going on?" After subduing the three yokai by force, Natsume peeked over the stairs. "No, Nyanko-sensei just accidentally knocked the books off the table." Nyanko-sensei, lying beaten up with a huge bandage on his head: Damn it! Content warnings: 1. Kero's true form is portrayed as a lion in this story! 2.
