Known as Yokohama's Dog

"Are you Mr. Mori's enemy?"

[Blurb 1]

Shenshui Che escaped from the battlefield.

Declared dead and stripped of his household registration, the boy had nowhere to go. He scraped by in the slums of Rakuza Street, secretly looking for his papa (not really). A few years later, in this same garbage-strewn alley, he finally ran into his pa... er, commander, again.

Shenshui Che: "..."

He clutched the doctor's coat and wouldn't let go.

Mori Ogai: "..."

He couldn't pull free, but was secretly pleased.

Of course, a polished diamond should be accompanied by another diamond.
