Don't You Have a Wife of Your Own?

In the land of Mumaiti, there is only one female duke: Anlan Navins. People praise her swordsmanship and scholarship, while tacitly ignoring her gender.

Only Joya, the young lady of the Orville family, will stand before the king and tell everyone, "I like her. I want to marry her."

If you ask her why, she'll say, "I believe that the Duke of Navins will understand me."

She and I are the same kind of person.

Anlan, who once rejected Joya Orville, is dead. The duke who has come back to life still rejects her, but this time, her refusal has a different meaning.

"Your Grace..."

Even when Joya is met with a gentle gaze, Anlan coldly looks away, as though she has seen something offensive. Yet she says:

"As expected of a young lady of the Orville family. You certainly know how to play your cards."

Each time, Joya wonders: What did I do? What is she talking about?

What Anlan really means is:

"My heart trembles for you. I've fallen in love with you, Miss Joya."

"Love came upon me without warning, like breathing. I cannot bear the thought of losing you or being apart."

A tsundere duke who falls for her own schemes x a gentle heiress whose wiles go to waste

Theme: Hunter and prey are only fun when they're evenly matched.
