School Ghost Stories

When the buried taboo resurfaces, perhaps you're walking slowly up the stairs when you realize that no matter what you do, you can't reach the top floor. Perhaps you're standing in an empty classroom, then turn your head and suddenly see that the room is filled with people, though you don't know when they arrived. Perhaps you've just escaped this eerie place when everything goes dark, and you realize you're still in some corner of the school. In time, you gradually get used to your surroundings, only to discover in the end that everything was merely the prelude to a horror descending upon you.

The malice beneath the skin follows close behind.
