Star and Moon's Lost City

This is my first time writing this kind of novel. I agonized over it for ages, and I still don’t really know how to write a blurb. I meant for it to be lighthearted, but the editor at Xijia said the opening felt a little oppressive. I meant to write a tragic heroine, but my friend said she couldn’t help laughing. I meant to write something realistic, but the editor insisted it had a sci-fi feel... I’m so depressed! Is my first attempt at writing a gaming novel really going to turn into some kind of mishmash? A few things to keep in mind: 1. This is important. I’m writing this story as I go, so I can’t promise daily updates. I started it to unwind while working on my Jianghu series. Being pressured to update would stress me out and take away all the fun, so please don’t rush me. If waiting for updates doesn’t suit you, let the story build up and read it later. 2. The overall structure needs to be planned out, and the necessary groundwork and explanations have to be laid down bit by bit. So this may be a slow burn. If you’re impatient, just click the X in the upper-right corner. 3. This story has romance and friendship, passion and loyalty, and friends who would live and die together. It also has schemes and plots, blood and violence, suspense and thrills, betrayal and abandonment... The female or male lead may not be likable, either. If you’re emotionally sensitive, kindhearted, idealistic, or unable to tell right from wrong, choose carefully before diving in. 4. The game in this story has nothing to do with any real game. The game world is something I made up, drawing on my many years of online gaming. I came up with the game mechanics while discussing them with a friend as we played. My friend and I will also pop into the story for a cameo.
