I Wasn't Like This as a Kid

[The story is complete. Thank you for your support.] At 27, Gu Ya borrows a corpse to return to life ten years in the past. Given another chance, he sets three goals for himself. One: Get into a prestigious university. Two: Find the benefactor who has been quietly protecting him all along. Three: Take good care of the timid, sensitive boy he was as a teenager. The second day after he is reborn happens to be the day he was bullied by delinquents from outside school. Gu Ya waits early at the mouth of the alley, ready to save his former self from danger. But the boy he remembers as someone who never fought back or struggled, with no fighting ability at all, takes on a whole gang and beats them to the ground. The injured boy stands at the alley entrance, murder in his eyes. "Mess with me again, and you'll regret it." Gu Ya: ??? This isn't right. I wasn't like this as a kid. - As Gu Ya's second personality, he is obsessive, ruthless, arrogant, and heedless of consequences. His only purpose is to protect Gu Ya. His greatest wish is to walk with Gu Ya along a sunny street, kiss the boy who makes his heart flutter, and say, "I love you." But he knows it's only a fantasy. He can't let Gu Ya become a "freak" in other people's eyes. So he carefully hides himself, planning to quietly disappear once Gu Ya can stand on his own. But one day, Gu Ya suddenly disappears, and he takes control of the body. After consulting many psychiatrists, he gets the same answer every time. "I haven't found a second personality inside you."
