To follow her favorite idol, Lu Xingxing stayed active across all kinds of platforms.
In the morning, she was an unnoticed voice actor on one platform.
At noon, she did mukbangs on another.
In the evening, she livestreamed herself singing on a streaming platform.
When she was bored, she did cover songs.
She worked hard and diligently in obscurity until one day, a cover video made her famous.
Enthusiastic netizens dug up her everyday videos from different platforms, all under the same username.
A novel she hadn't updated in ages was suddenly swamped with fans begging for new chapters: "Awooo, Xingxing, please feed us!"
She got five kills in a gaming livestream, and her fans, the Starry Skies, howled, "Our Xingxing is amazing!"
She appeared on an obscure variety show, and her straightforward personality quickly won over viewers.
She acted in a small online drama and caught the tail end of a sweet romance series, which unexpectedly got good ratings.
That summer, Lu Xingxing became a sensation.
But scandals followed close behind.
"She got 28 in math and still dares to play the academic ace?"
"Popular young actress bullied people at school...?"
Lu Xingxing: They even dug up the fact that I scored 28 in middle school math?
Lu Xingxing gazed at Wen Shu with sparkling eyes. He had never been able to refuse her, but this time he only ruffled her hair and bent down close to her. In a tender whisper, like a lover's, he said something cruel and cold: "I'm tired of this. Let's break up."
This is a story of mutual love, even mutual crushes that are practically out in the open.
The real deal lucky star: Lu Xingxing
National heartthrob: Wen Shu
Theme: We crossed paths briefly, and the tide went out at the end.
