A flashy top-tier star actor who comes crawling back to his ex X a seemingly aloof but actually goofy university lecturer
Some people are serious university lecturers by day and voice-acting streamers with goofy characters flying everywhere by night.
Song Jiaying had finished compiling the list of students to check on in the dorms. He was about to turn on his computer and start streaming when his nephew suddenly called.
"Uncle, I got into a car accident."
And the other person involved was a celebrity.
At the hospital, Song Jiaying finally met the mysterious big shot from the call:
top-tier star actor Xia Zhengyi, a cool, chaste idol with millions of devoted fangirls, perched high on his pedestal.
Song Jiaying grabbed his nephew's hand and ran back, his face pale. "Call your dad. I can't handle this!"
Ignoring the bandage on his head, Xia Zhengyi caught up in just a few strides, put an arm around Song Jiaying's waist, and leaned close to his ear, pretending to breathe weakly.
"Mr. Song, my eyes hurt... I haven't even read the script for my new drama."
Song Jiaying: "If you're blind, don't act."
Xia Zhengyi: "The penalty for breaking the contract is too expensive! How about... you read the script to me?"
Song Jiaying had a secret tucked away in his heart:
The top-tier star actor Xia Zhengyi was his first love and ex-boyfriend.
He'd thought they would be together after the college entrance exams. Who knew that just as they'd started flying, Song Jiaying would be dumped out of the blue?
Xia Zhengyi left without a backward glance, blocking every way to contact him.
That night, Song Jiaying cried out every tear his eighteen-year-old self had in him, then leaned over the table with red eyes, dialing the unreachable number again and again.
A trending post on Weibo revealed that Xia Zhengyi had been in a car accident and gone blind. His fanbase exploded:
[Impossible, my husband just posted on Weibo!]
The bucktoothed voice actor streamer [YY] went live as usual, and his stream had built up two hundred million viewers' worth of popularity.
Song Jiaying had promised to fulfill a gaming reward for his fans that night, so he dropped into the military base and started spraying bullets.
A long-fingered hand appeared on camera and popped a purple grape into his mouth.
"Sweet?"
Song Jiaying froze, then hurriedly shut off the stream. Sharp-eyed fans noticed that the watch on that hand was the same high-end custom piece Xia had posted about two minutes earlier.
Fans: "We didn't see a thing!"
