To escape a tangled love triangle, Fu Tusheng comes alone to the capital to look for work, only to unexpectedly land a job as an "Envoy of the Living World."
Fu Tusheng: "What's the position?"
Interviewer: "You're in charge of the Underworld Reincarnation Accident Response Center, the Human World Accident Response Department, and the Charity Association for Universal Salvation. In short, you're the 'Envoy of the Living World.'"
Fu Tusheng: "What does the job involve?"
Interviewer: "Evil spirits are running rampant. Some people, for wealth, power, and personal gain, defy Heaven's will and recklessly steal other people's fortune for themselves, violating the laws of reincarnation in the human world. Your job is to reclaim the fortune they've stolen and return it to its rightful owners. In short, you're a 'debt collector.'"
Fu Tusheng: "How much does it pay?"
Interviewer: "I'll give you a card. Spend as much as you like, there's no limit."
Fu Tusheng laughs in disbelief, thinking, Let's see what other ghost stories you can make up. He replies casually, "Sounds good. When do I start?"
