Eve has been living and working incognito in Europe. She never expected that one day her former employer, Hydra, would suddenly collapse, and that she would run into an old friend, the Winter Soldier. Her peaceful life is shattered, and she gets drawn into the Avengers. The timeline begins after Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Bucky is missing, Hydra has fallen, and Captain America begins searching for him. The story generally follows the movie timeline and includes movie events, continuing through the ending of Avengers: Endgame. Also, Endgame Cap won't be retiring in my story. Eve's setup: a Hydra female warrior, paired with Bucky.

Hecate from the Marvel Universe suddenly arrives in a new world. It's a peaceful place, with no superheroes, no cosmic powers, and no aliens, just a few volunteer police officers at most.
Tired of one superhero crisis after another, Hecate immediately decides to lie flat. She gives herself the alias "Kate" and becomes an "ordinary" high school girl in a small Kansas town.
After living in Smallville for two months, she realizes that it's not that those things don't exist. It's just that everything is only beginning.
