A Tyrant in the House

What do you do when you find an ancient-era tyrant empress in the modern world?

Asking online. It's urgent.

Zhu Ya doesn't have any special hobbies. She's just stingy, cheap, and likes rummaging through junkyards for interesting finds.

Until one day...

She found a once-noble emperor.

Unfortunately, a thousand years had passed in a dream, and the empress's dynasty was gone, so there was no way to take advantage of her.

The dynasty may have fallen...

But the famous tyrant's extravagant spending habits hadn't changed one bit!

So every now and then, the following could be heard at home:

Empress: "I want cotton candy! Buy me some!"

Zhu Ya: "No money. Not buying it."

Empress: "Someone! Behead this wretch!"

Chu Ya, so stingy she only carried enough change to take the subway: "Your Majesty, we don't have any money to hire someone to behead me."

Empress: ...

What's it like for a miser to raise an emperor?

It's probably what they call being ready to die a thousand deaths without complaint!
