Clearly a Powerhouse, Yet He Insists on Switching Careers to Become a Mecha-School Slacker

Yin Mo's greatest wish is to build a mecha perfectly suited to her.

To make her dream come true, she resolutely enrolls in mecha engineering despite scoring zero on the entrance exam.

The annual interschool mecha competition begins. Desperate to pass her make-up exams and focused only on studying, she gets dragged in to fill out the team.

Then she pilots a training-model mecha and stands out among a crowd of high-end custom machines with outstanding performance, fighting her way to victory and winning the global university mecha league.

People around the world: ...This is freaking ridiculous. Real gold and silver can't beat a cheap, standard-issue training model?

An invasion from another world looms, and the whole planet prepares for war.

While Yin Mo, the world's top mecha engineer, the Alliance Army's youngest major general, is cramming for her final exams and trying not to fail again, she's summoned back to her unit.

Yin Mo, writing furiously: Wait! I swear I won't fail this time!

Four years later, news breaks that Yin Mo has been held back.

Reporters rush to interview her.

Yin Mo: As everyone knows, when God opens a window, He closes a whole lot of doors.
