Taking Eren's words as her starting point, Ymir struggles to survive in a world crawling with monsters, trying to prevent Historia's tragic fate and make up for the foolish choice she made on her own, entrusting that girl's future to someone else.
After many adventures, Ymir finally succeeds in freeing Historia from her predetermined fate. But by then, she no longer feels she deserves to stay by that girl's side...

Historia fidgeted shyly, then finally threw herself into Ymir's arms.
"When this battle is over, let's get married..." Her bashful voice drifted out from Ymir's embrace.
