Gu Nian was knocked unconscious by a falling object while on his way to a blind date, and discovered that he had transmigrated. Along with him came a half-dead System and an original plot he knew nothing about.
The first time, a junior disciple appeared out of nowhere. Cold and strange, he was supposed to be an easy source of food and lodging for Gu Nian, but the plot went off the rails and the junior disciple turned demonic.
System: The plot has gone off course. Host, leave immediately.
Gu Nian: Right away!
The second time, he transmigrated as an immortal and got a disciple thrown in for free. Just as he was planning to coast along until the plot ended, the System suddenly appeared.
System: Host, leave and make your disciple turn demonic.
Gu Nian: ...I died before I could even leave.
The third time, Gu Nian returned to the world from his second transmigration. Just as he was planning to coast along until the plot ended, the System appeared again and again.
System: Make Shen Huaiyu fall in love with the eldest daughter of the righteous sect.
Gu Nian: ?????? To hell with the System. He's mine.
After it was all over, Gu Nian returned to his own world and suddenly realized that his junior disciple, Shen Yuan, and his disciple, Shen Huaiyu, seemed to be the same person. And that person was also his blind date?
Gu Nian: Shen Yuan, get out here!
Shen Yuan: Coming, darling.
