Beta, Don't You Have Any Pride?!

[The title and blurb may change] From the day he was born, Chu Yi knew he was destined to become a top-tier Alpha. His birth certificate said he had a 99.99% chance of presenting as an Alpha. How could anything go wrong? Good-looking, from a decent family, and destined to be a top Alpha, Chu Yi lived boldly and had everything go his way. All he had to do was present as an Alpha and reach the pinnacle of life. There was only one enemy in his life: Huo Nanfeng. Huo Nanfeng was a force of nature with a 100% chance of presenting as an Alpha. Chu Yi and Huo Nanfeng were natural enemies. They clashed at every turn, evenly matched, with neither able to get the upper hand. When Huo Nanfeng made it through his presentation first and became an Alpha, Chu Yi was so angry he couldn't sleep all night. Chu Yi swore to himself: Once he presented as an Alpha, he would have a truly satisfying showdown with Huo Nanfeng! Instead, that 0.01% chance of something going wrong landed on Chu Yi. He became a Beta. Chu Yi swore to himself that he would be the first Beta to take down an Alpha! Huo Nanfeng caught a faint, sweet scent coming from Chu Yi. Whose Alpha smells this sweet? When he learned that Chu Yi hoped to marry a Beta in the future, Huo Nanfeng turned green with envy. “I'll find an Alpha. Someone evenly matched with me, someone I can talk to.” “What's so great about Betas? Surely nobody actually likes a Beta.” Chu Yi: Just you wait, I'll show you! Notes: ① One-on-one pairing, already decided.
