Now complete. The “Pathological Lover” world from the blurb has its own separate series page and is being continued there.
The “sickly” beauty Yan Xubai is as handsome as an immortal. Every frown and smile of his drives people mad with infatuation, even though he suffers from all kinds of “illnesses” that are difficult to cure…
World One: [Extreme Delusions]
In a super-century age, people with special abilities have appeared, and ordinary people’s physical fitness has generally improved. This leaves the delicate and beautiful Yan Xubai feeling terribly uneasy…
After being followed and harassed repeatedly, Yan Xubai knocks on a door on a rainy night and stumbles into a man’s arms. He clings tightly to the arm supporting him, as if holding onto a lifeline.
World Two: [Pathological Lover]
Yan Xubai is married. His husband is handsome and imposing, successful in his career, and tender and considerate toward him. In everyone else’s eyes, they are the model couple. But recently, his husband has been acting increasingly strangely… He keeps his distance and rejects Yan Xubai’s advances, and often watches him with a gloomy, repressed gaze… as if he were a stranger… This leaves Yan Xubai terrified and anguished night after night, unable to sleep.
In the dim yellow light, Yan Xubai rubs his tear-swollen eyelids. Struggling to hold back a sob, he takes the hand of the psychologist before him. His tear-filled eyes show his trust and dependence as he says, “…Doctor… I suspect a monster has possessed my husband…”
The psychologist’s beautiful, light-colored eyes reflect the young man’s fragile, lovely face. Suddenly, he curls his lips into an eerily gentle smile and slowly straightens his white coat. “Would you like me to help?”
#The protagonist is ill and beautiful, a heartthrob to all. Every world is about treating his illness#
#No memories between worlds. Each can be read as a standalone story#
#Lots of indulgent, cringey descriptions in a mindless story. Everything unreasonable is fictional and made up by the author. Don’t compare it to reality or overanalyze it#
Theme: For every illness under heaven, true love is the medicinal guide. In the end, every illness will be cured.
