Lingering Warmth [Vampires]

Luo Yetong transmigrates by accident into a world of vampires, where he meets a vampire prince named Lu Yize.

From then on, the lives of two people who once had nothing to do with each other begin to change, and their bond grows deeper as they bicker and tease each other.

Three years ago, while on a mission, Lu Yize was gravely injured. With red-rimmed eyes, Luo Yetong said, "Lu Yize, don't let anything happen to you."

Lu Yize gently rubbed his black hair in reassurance. "I'm fine."

Luo Yetong shook his head. "What do you mean, you're fine? If something happens to you, who'll pay my wages?"

Lu Yize's heart, which had just gone soft as could be: "...?"

Three years later, while on another mission, Luo Yetong took Lu Yize's hand and said, reluctant to let him go, "Be careful."

Lu Yize lowered his eyes to look at him. "Nothing will happen. I'll pay you when I get back."

Luo Yetong: "...?"

Lu Yize brought back a human who claimed to be from the East. Supposedly, he had invented many things for everyday use that made human life much easier.

The human race: "Would you be interested in becoming an inventor?"

The vampires: "This kid's got potential. It'd be a waste to make him a blood servant."

The werewolves: "Have you ever thought about coming to Luwoserman?"

One vampire prince: "I brought him back. He's mine."

The things he creates, his blood, his body, and his heart all belong to him.

One day, Lu Yize pinned him beneath him, his voice possessive yet touched with an almost imperceptible tenderness. "Don't even think about leaving Sukeneer. Don't leave me."

Luo Yetong gave in, his voice tinged with exasperation. "All right, all right. I'll stay, okay?"

And stay he did, for the rest of his life.

*He is the love of my life, the one I will never leave behind, in this life or the next.

*The seme is a thousand-year-old monster, and neither his body nor his heart is pure. Both the seme and uke have exes.

*The plot comes first. It's sort of an ensemble cast... maybe (?)

*The vampires and werewolves have plenty of author-created lore, and this is a fictional world, so please don't overanalyze it.

*Some fight scenes may not make sense, so don't nitpick. I can't fight, after all. I made it all up QwQ

*Written for my own amusement, with a freewheeling style! (The update schedule is just as freewheeling.)

*This story grew out of a long-running daydream, so the logic may not always hold up. I'll revise as I go.
