The Dragon and Mr. Mermaid

After meeting Que Yin, the wicked dragon both loved and hated pearls most of all.

Because they were the tears of her merman.

Hong Li couldn't bear to let Que Yin suffer.

Mermaid: Lowers his eyes and says nothing, while quietly plotting revenge.

Hong Li stared at the mermaid in front of her in disbelief. "I'm a dragon, you know. And you're asking me if I eat grass?"

There was no place for grass at a wicked dragon's table!

Que Yin lowered his eyes and silently shifted away, unable to stomach all the different kinds of animal meat.

Hong Li's expression turned icy.

"Heh, not eating?"

"Fine, starve to death for all I care."

In the end, the wicked dragon gazed resentfully at the grass that had appeared on the table, far away from her.

Wicked dragon: Why are you sitting so far away? Come over and eat!

Damn it!

How had green grass ended up on a wicked dragon's table?

A few quiet words from the author: Since The Wicked Dragon is my first story, and it went through a major rewrite halfway through and nearly died before the finish line, there may inevitably be typos, name mix-ups, OOC characterization, and other odd things that make reading less enjoyable. My dears, feel free to point them out in the comments. I'll fix them when I see them! You've all paid to read this, so if anything bothers you, please say so. Genuine writing advice is welcome too.
