After thinking it over, I've decided to unlock the chapters.
I don't feel much chemistry between the leads, and I can't bring myself to ship them. The original outline had a lot of couple-focused plot in the later chapters, and I can't force myself to write that.
I think the main plot points, including the talent show and the friends-and-family storyline, are done. I'll write more if I feel like it, and if not, so be it. I'm following my heart and deciding there won't be a couple. Looking back, I still think the premise was pretty fun, even if the plot was only so-so. I'm archiving it here.
