Coming soon: A redemption story + Western Fantasy + nonhuman characters: After Redeeming an Evil God
Tentative synopsis:
Bailey transmigrates into a badly ended Western Fantasy novel.
The author got lazy and didn't want to finish writing, so they hurriedly cut the outline short. In the end, even the main cast failed to defeat the evil god boss, and everyone died.
And compared with the word “god,” that thing was more like an ugly, twisted, indescribable monster.
But everyone knows that villains have tragic pasts. Even the monster who stands at the top of the power rankings in this story is no exception.
He was once the Church's Chosen of Light. After being framed, he fell into ruin overnight, was sold to a slave market and subjected to all kinds of abuse, then was eventually bought by a minor character.
The minor character was a perverse mage apprentice who was obsessed with dark magic. They threw the boss, bought as a test subject, into a basement and subjected him to inhumane torment, body and soul alike.
In the end, after growing bored of playing with him, they stripped the flesh from the boss's body and made him into an undead familiar to do their bidding.
At last, amid boundless hatred and despair, the former Child of Light became the most terrifying, twisted creature in the abyss...
And so began the tragedy.
Bailey was lucky enough to wake up as the perverse minor character who shared her name.
Bailey (smiling): Crap. A kind of plant.
She sprinted down to the basement and found that the newly purchased boss was already on the verge of a mental breakdown. His body was in an appalling state, covered in rotting patches...
But fortunately, the original owner hadn't yet started her deadly magical experiments on him.
So Bailey did everything she could to heal him and keep him company, until his body gradually recovered.
She helped him get back on his feet, relearn how to walk, and then slowly awaken his true personality...
Once she'd confirmed that his mental state was stabilizing and he seemed obedient and sensible, Bailey figured she could bow out with a clear conscience.
Not wanting to get tangled up in the plot, she grabbed her staff and ran in the middle of the night.
But what Bailey didn't know was that the creature she'd been raising had been a monster all along.

One day, Uriel opened his eyes and discovered that the most important thing in his life was gone.
[Why did you throw me away?]
[Ah... Bailey... Bailey, Bailey, Bailey, Bailey, my Bailey...]
[Why... did you abandon me?]
In his despair, memories of the abyss gradually returned.
His empty eyes slowly filled with laughter.
It turned out that everything was a fairy-tale castle built on lies. No one would ever truly care for a monster.
He would kill that liar, Bellatrix!

Note: This is a sweet, healing story. Don't believe me? Take a look at the little scene below!

Uriel: I finally found you... Now I'm going to kill
Bailey: Oh, look! Why is there a tiny transparent octopus that looks like jelly? So cute! (Picks it up and cuddles it)
Uriel: ...I'll kill her tomorrow.
#The next day#
Uriel: Liar, today you must
Bailey: You're so energetic today, little cutie! Mwah~ (Gives him a smacking kiss)
Uriel: ...I-I'll kill her tomorrow! Definitely tomorrow! (///)
