Non-living person Mochuan X living person Lin Zhe
Two thousand years ago, in their previous lives, Mochuan and Lin Zhe...
After being manipulated by outsiders, Mochuan killed the person he loved with his own hands. When he learned the truth, he took his own life for Lin Zhe, but an accident caused him to miss the chance to be reincarnated. He became a powerful vengeful ghost. Impressed by Mochuan's extraordinary abilities, the childless Ghost King of the time adopted him as his godson. Not long afterward, the Ghost King crossed the Corpse King's line and triggered a war between them. The Ghost King was defeated and reduced to ashes. Before his death, he left a will passing the throne to Mochuan. Mochuan governed the underworld well and earned the support of all its ghosts, while also searching for the place where Lin Zhe had been reincarnated. After finding him, Mochuan devised a scheme and found a place to settle in the human world, waiting until Lin Zhe turned seventeen. Lin Zhe's father appeared in a dream to Old Master Lin and told him that the current Ghost King was named Mochuan, and asked him to secure a house for Lin Zhe. Once Old Master Lin had done this, he went to report to the underworld.
After finding Lin Zhe, Mochuan led him step by step into the scheme he had devised. But an accident exposed Mochuan, forcing him to tell the truth. After revealing himself, Mochuan took Lin Zhe to the underworld to see their past lives. Lin Zhe then agreed to let Mochuan be his boyfriend on a trial basis. They went on to enjoy a perfect school romance. Once the trial period was over, Mochuan found an elixir of immortality for Lin Zhe. The two faced many more hardships and separations before finally living together.
