Novel blurb

Muzan never expected the head of the Ubuyashiki family to try to take him down with him, even with his wife and daughters by his side.

The explosion's aftereffects distorted space and time, bringing someone other than Muzan into the past alongside him, amid the flames.

"Kill the Muzan of the past."

The white-haired, red-eyed Demon King stood in the shadows in a corner, watching his past self, who was bedridden and chronically ill.

Weak. Powerless. Pitiful.

His pale fingers curled around the boy's slightly wavy black hair. "Don't trust anyone. They all want to kill you."

"Who are you?" Young Muzan felt no fear at all toward the white-haired young man who had suddenly appeared before him.

"I'm a demon..."

The power of time and space erased the name he hadn't finished saying.

"I'm a demon. From now on, I'm the only one you can trust."

"I trust you." I trust my instincts, too.

"I'll find a way to cure you." The white-haired Muzan promised the black-haired Muzan.

Through tear-blurred eyes, the white-haired young man gave him a gentle kiss.

"This feeling I've never had before... Is this part of the treatment, too?"

"That's right."

The only person who can earn all my love is "me."

When Dazai Osamu obtained the book, he heard a voice from beyond the world.

[Character is in an indefinite state of madness.]

Thus Dazai Osamu saw the truth of the world, drew the attention of Arahabaki, and received the mark of an ancient god branded onto his body.

His reason vanished, his convictions crumbled, and the world turned upside down. Corpses, blood, and wandering shadows filled Yokohama, this city of ability users.

I will escape this painful cycle with my god, Arahabaki.
