Please support me by following my author page, and here's a preview of two upcoming novels. If you like them, please add them to your collection. The blurbs are below:
The Lacquer Artisan Ming Zhao: An ambitious young lady and her loyal county magistrate
The Laid-Back Substitute Bride: A little white rabbit and a big bad wolf
Aman first met Fu Yunxiu on a sunny afternoon. In a desolate, crumbling courtyard, a pale man sat in a wheelchair. He lazily lifted his eyelids. "You're the concubine my mother found for me?"
Aman didn't answer, but her cheeks quietly flushed, because she'd never seen anyone so handsome.
*
Fu Yunxiu had been sickly since birth. After an injury left him unable to walk, and a doctor declared he wouldn't live past twenty-five, he became a discarded pawn in the Fu family.
Aman took care of him diligently for three years, staying by his side as he safely passed his twenty-fifth birthday. Then, on another sunny afternoon, the man told her he was going to marry.
At that moment, Aman suddenly realized that Fu Yunxiu, whom she always had to look up at, wasn't handsome at all.
Everyone thought Aman would make a scene, crying, throwing tantrums, and threatening suicide. Instead, she stared at him for a long while and calmly said, "Congratulations."
Then, amid the Fu estate's festive decorations and laughter, she took the worn bundle she'd brought with her when she first arrived and walked out of the Fu household alone...
They say that night, the Fu family's usually gentle and refined eldest son, his eyes red, frantically searched every corner of Yongzhou City for the wife who had disappeared.

Here's another preview. If you like it, please add it to your collection:
The Lacquer Artisan Ming Zhao: An ambitious young lady and her loyal county magistrate
Ming Zhao, the youngest daughter of the Ming family, wanted to fulfill her grandfather's last wish. Together with her childhood sweetheart and fiance, Zhou Yuanqing, she searched through old texts and worked tirelessly for a year. At last, they created a beautiful set of traditional lacquerware to present at the International Merchants' Fair.
Zhou Yuanqing said that after they returned from the fair, the two of them would get married.
Ming Zhao waited at home, preparing to become a bride. But instead of good news from her fiance, she received word that he'd been ambushed on the road. He had died of his injuries, and the lacquerware had vanished.
The newly appointed county magistrate, Shen Tingsi, investigated the case and eventually discovered that the culprits were Japanese.
*
Ming Zhao said, "At first, I only wanted to fulfill Grandpa's last wish, so he could rest in peace. Later, I wanted to find a future and a legacy for this craft."
Shen Tingsi: "When I first met Ming Zhao, I thought she was just a sheltered young lady living in the shadow of her elders. Later, I realized that, just like her name, she's wise, sensible, and dazzling."
The Laid-Back Substitute Bride: A little white rabbit and a big bad wolf
The gentle Shu Yao suddenly transmigrates into the body of a substitute bride, forced to marry Yan Suizhi, a disabled general.
Rumor has it he's eccentric and volatile, and his previous three wives all died on their wedding nights without exception.
Sure enough, as soon as Shu Yao enters the house, before her veil is even lifted, the man grabs her by the throat with murderous force. "If you don't want to die, get out. Now."
Her veil slips off. The beauty looks aggrieved, her eyes brimming with tears. "Husband, I'm hungry."
Yan Suizhi: "..." Is this woman out of her mind?
Yan Suizhi spent his life on the battlefield and achieved remarkable military victories, only to arouse the emperor's suspicion. At a victory banquet, a cup of poisoned wine left his legs crippled, stripped him of his martial arts, and condemned him to an early death.
Even then, the emperor wasn't satisfied. He arranged three marriages for Yan Suizhi in a row, and each wedding night ended with blood staining the bed curtains.
But this time, his new bride didn't attack him. Instead, in the middle of the night, she said she was cold and wanted to sleep in his arms.
Yan Suizhi suspected the emperor had run out of tricks and was trying a new approach.
Hmph. Let's see how long she can keep up the act...
From then on, Yan Suizhi gave Shu Yao whatever she wanted.
Shu Yao complained that the bed was too hard, so he sold off the family assets to buy her a soft new bed.
Shu Yao complained that the food tasted bad, so he put his subordinates under pressure until every one of them became a master chef.
Shu Yao complained that the household was poor, so he dragged his disabled body out to earn money.
Shu Yao settled into a lazy life where she had everything brought to her, but everyone thought Yan Suizhi was only pretending to be sincere, waiting for the right moment to strike.
Then one day, while he was away, the emperor summoned Shu Yao to the palace and tortured her until she was barely recognizable, leaving her near death.
The man who was always calm and in control flew into a rage. "I've spoiled her this much already. Is it really too much to make her the most exalted woman in the world?"
Theme: Draw strength from adversity and live positively.
I rubbed my hands and waited for a day. 555 Why hasn't my daughter come ashore yet?
It took me a long time to realize that the article had been updated and ended. Apart from other things, why didn't Shen Jiao get retribution? Shen's mother and Fu's mother were so partial, causing the tragedy of two women. The late mother is so innocent, she has to pay for it with her life
I really can't stand the fact that there are too many northern accents in the whole article.
I always feel that the author looks like a northerner. The northern accent when writing the article is very strong. Can't stand it.
