Mountains and Rivers Enter My Dreams

While Wan Chu was alive, she was glorious. After her death, she was wretched. The dashing young heir died in a filthy stable, disfigured and covered in wounds, with no one to claim her body.

Reborn, she hated Song Cen for deceiving her feelings, the emperor for coddling her into ruin, and the so-called family who kicked her when she was down.

She wanted revenge.

But in the end, she discovered that the people she should hate most were her father, her mother, and even her master.

From the moment she was born, she was a pawn. The whole charade of dressing as a man to inherit the title was merely a ploy, one that doomed her to die and made her a pawn in someone's schemes.

No one loved her. No one cared for her. The world was vast, yet there was nowhere she could belong. Like a lone boat, she drifted along the river.

A lone boat cannot withstand the wind and rain. Yet at that moment, someone lifted it up and said softly, "Why haven't you come to find me yet? You could at least visit me in a dream. Never mind, you probably don't even remember me anymore."

At that moment, she seemed to come alive again. She had found somewhere to belong.

You compare yourself to a lone boat, but you don't know that to me, you are my mountains and rivers. Beneath all the heavens, I have only one wish: for the mountains and rivers to enter my dreams.
