After the NPC Awakened, I Got Caught in a Shura Field

Kan Xinsi is an NPC in the full-dive online game Dragon's Call. He's a hidden boss, and the only NPC in the game with consciousness. Since he's a hidden boss, almost no players come looking for him. With nothing to do every day, Kan Xinsi can only mingle with the players and tease other NPCs. After all, at midnight, all NPC memories are reset. Then one day, the System stopped resetting them, and the NPCs gained consciousness of their own. They finally remembered the terror of being teased by Kan Xinsi. Kan Xinsi: "..." Is it too late to stay quietly in my lair and be a hidden boss? Kan Xinsi never expected the term "social death," which he'd heard players use, to become part of the life of a game NPC like him. Looking at the vast crowd of NPCs in front of him, he gave an awkward laugh. "Doesn't everyone... have work to do?" You're all proper NPCs, and players come to grind you every day! Kan Xinsi decided to plead his case. Trembling, he began, "Even though I'm a hidden boss and not many players come to fight me, I'm still a very important part of the game's story. Fellow townsfolk, for the sake of our years as colleagues, please let me off this time." But Kan Xinsi watched as the red-faced NPCs in front of him erupted into an uproar. Only, they were rioting for the wrong reason... "Kan Xinsi comes here every day to lift my chin, without fail, rain or shine. How could he not be deeply in love with me?" "You're bragging about him lifting your chin? Once a week, I get injured, and every time, he comes over and touches my bare chest. He won't stop until he's been at it for half an hour!" "Hmph, when he sees me, he rushes over and calls me a beauty. How could I not be his favorite?" Listening to these explosive confessions, Kan Xinsi thought maybe he should find a chance to let a player take him out. Just as everyone was arguing without end, an earth-shattering confession came out. "That's nothing. Every time the story kills me and ties me up in the little black room, he sneaks in under cover of darkness and doesn't leave until the sky turns pale." Kan Xinsi: "..." I might as well die.
