How to Go from Undercover Agent to Kujo's Wife

Several statements regarding the online harassment and false accusations I received over the title of a JoJo fanfic I wrote: 1. I added the title How to Win Over a Showa Man to my list of upcoming stories over a year ago. Before it was featured today, no one had ever objected to the phrase "Showa man." If anyone had, I would have changed it. Some people say I was "pretending not to understand" and use those four characters to accuse me of "supporting Japanese militarism." I want to make it clear that this is a false accusation and a deliberate frame-up. I had no such intentions. 2. Why did I use "Showa man" in the blurb? The male lead, Jotaro Kujo, is from Hirohiko Araki's manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. Since he was born in the Showa era and has a distinctive personality, some fans occasionally jokingly call him a "Showa man." I was corrected that this term doesn't represent all fans (search the keywords Joseph, Jotaro, and JoJo to find examples; see the image posted by @Shayuzi). I hadn't looked into the matter thoroughly, so I used it as a nickname for him when choosing the title. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. After numerous comments pointed out that "Showa man" had an inaccurate origin and that the joke itself was problematic, I immediately contacted my editor to change the title. Authors on Jinjiang who have signed contracts can't change their titles themselves, and my editor starts work at 9 a.m. I'm grateful they changed it as soon as they got in that morning. I absolutely did not "go silent" as some people claim. I also said in the comments and blurb that I would change it, but people still flooded me with negative votes and spread rumors about me. I left my apology up for the whole night, then deleted it after my editor changed the title. Some people felt it wasn't sincere, so I'm explaining in detail again. 3. Regarding my political views: I love my country. I'm not a Japanophile. I loathe the history of Japanese aggression against China and Japanese militarism. There's nothing more to it than that. Those of you who used this phrase to label me a "Japanophile, anti-Chinese, anti-Communist, and traitor" are spreading defamatory lies. I've begun gathering evidence and am preparing to sue those responsible for spreading these rumors. I will use legal means to protect my legitimate rights. I will not stop writing or create an alternate account. I refuse to accept any labels you're trying to force on me, and I will not forgive such malicious slander. Since I need to sue those spreading rumors, I don't have time to continue writing this story for now. It will automatically become free in three months, and I'll post the remaining chapters after that. After the evil organization fell, my boss was taken out by an invincible eighteen-year-old savior! I hadn't even had time to celebrate my escape from the hellhole when my new boss forced me to impersonate the savior's professor and infiltrate his circle as a spy. "Earn his trust, uncover his secrets, and then kill him." "Who could possibly pull that off? He looks like he hates women!" "Don't make me punish you." But I'm just a researcher with terrible social skills, and my mission made no progress at all. My nasty new boss kept pressuring and threatening me, never giving me a single peaceful day... Frustrated and miserable, I got completely drunk at a bar, spent an hour sobbing to a handsome stranger, and then took him home with me. The next day, once I sobered up, I was horrified to discover that the handsome, green-eyed stranger was my target! Me: ...???!!! What have I done?!! From another perspective: The eighteen-year-old badass who had recently saved the world sensed that something was off about his professor. He decided to play along and keep an eye on the woman. He would punish her as she deserved, but gradually realized he was becoming fascinated by her. Reader notes: 1. Written in third person. 2. Older woman/younger man romance, with a good man and a bad woman. Eight-year age gap. The female lead is Asian, and the male lead is of English, Italian, and Japanese descent. 3. Set after the original story ends. Having read the original doesn't make much difference. 4. The male lead is a 195-cm-tall badass with a slightly scheming streak. Theme: Love can overcome fate
