Lin Qiye has a secret.
She isn't the sort of being that belongs in human society. In short, she's not human.
So she ran away.
The bizarre, ever-changing world of infinite-flow stories was where she belonged.
Lin Qiye never expected to run into Wu Rao here.
Wu Rao was just as she had always been: beautiful and delicate, alluring without realizing it.
Whenever they encountered danger, she would hide behind Lin Qiye with a pale face, her clear eyes glistening with tears.
She would call out softly, "Qiye, I'm scared."
Lin Qiye would pull her into her arms, her heart melting completely.
As long as Wu Rao stayed alive, that was enough. Lin Qiye would take care of everything else.
Until one late night, she accidentally saw Wu Rao, who should have been asleep, standing in the rain, crushing a monster's heart into pulp with one hand. The curve of her lips was one Lin Qiye had never seen before.
