The Possibility of Falling in Love in a Shura Field

[Tentative blurb, captured on 2021.8.10, revised on 2022.8.18] Kashima Hoshi made a name for herself in middle school thanks to her beauty. Everyone wondered who would be lucky enough to win her heart. She managed the middle school basketball club, and people thought she'd fall in love. After transferring schools, she managed the tennis club, and people thought she'd fall in love. But the truth was, the ultimate part-timer devoted herself diligently to serving the clubs. She treated girls like best friends and boys like buddies, popping every pink bubble of romance. All those crushes seemed utterly powerless in her presence. In high school, she continued nervously as an assistant manager for the volleyball club, following in the footsteps of her seniors. She probably... still didn't want to fall in love, right? "I want to fall in love." One day, Kashima Hoshi said this seriously to her best friend. Her best friend's heart was shocked and her hands trembled. She turned and quickly found a group chat on her phone, sending a message: "Guys, Hoshi's finally caught on!!!!" "She said she wants to fall in love!!" The Star-Catching Squad: ??? !!! It seemed Kashima Hoshi had finally come around in high school. So what are they waiting for? Catching a star is just around the corner! Forget slowly warming a frog in water. If they keep waiting, someone else will snatch her away! Star-Catching Squad, charge! [Reader's Guide] 1. The author's sweet and silly daughter takes after her mother. 2. Characters may be out of character. 3. Don't ask about the plot logic. I eat that stuff up. Theme: Nothing is more wonderful than this: at an age when we know so little about the world, all we expect from life is the dazzling ideal itself.
